Welcome to Key Stage 1! We have three mixed Year 1 and Year 2 classes. 

Our classes are as follows:

Castles Class: Mrs White (Deputy Headteacher and Key Stage One lead), Mrs Rolfe and Mrs Davies (Class teachers), Mrs Emans (LSA)

Knights Class:  Mrs MacGinnis (Class Teacher), Miss Martin (HLTA) and Ms Hier (LSA)

Dragons Class: Mrs O'Leary (Class teacher), Mrs Lankshear (HLTA), Mrs Smith (LSA/TALA) and Mrs Martin (1:1)

Topic: 

Who's afraid of the dark?

This half-term we are going to be learning about Owls within our English journey, more about animals through Science, and in Art we're going to be looking at the night sky and Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night. We're going to be using some excellent texts to support our learning and revise the maths learning we've done so far whilst supporting and challenging where needed!

Reading: 

Please read with your child as often as possible at home and record in their home school book which is checked at least three times a week. 

PE:

PE slots are as follows:

Knights PE Class is on Monday and Wednesday

Dragons PE Class is on Wednesday and Friday

Castles PE class is on Monday and Thursday.                                       

Please wear your Knights Enham PE kit into school on these days. You will need a purple school jumper/cardigan over the top, and please try to wear suitable footwear. This preferably needs to be BLACK trainers.
