Welcome to Key Stage 1! We have three mixed Year 1 and Year 2 classes. 

Our classes are as follows:

Castles Class:  Mrs Davies and Mrs Rolfe  (Class teachers) and Mrs Lankshear (HLTA)

Knights Class:  Mrs White (Deputy Headteacher and Key Stage One lead) and Miss Martin (HLTA) 

Dragons Class: Mrs O'Leary (Class teacher) and  Mrs Emans (LSA/ELSA )

Extra adults available to all classes: Mrs Smith (LSA/TALA) and Ms. Hier (LSA).

All about me!

This half-term we are going to be learning about ourselves! We're going to be exploring self-portraits in Art, and learning about our school and what makes it special for us in Geography.  We're going to be using some excellent texts to support our writing and reading. Maths will introduce us in our streamed groups to check our current knowledge, and we will focus on Number, Place Value, addition and subtraction. 

Reading: 

Please read with your child as often as possible at home and record in their home school book which is checked at least three times a week. This could be just a few pages of their home reader book, or even their favourite book at home! Looking ahead we will start sending ELS e-book logins home, where your child will be assigned a book to read each week.

PE:

PE slots are as follows:

Knights PE is on Tuesday (outside) and Thursday (inside)

Dragons PE is on Tuesday (outside) and Wednesday (inside)

Castles PE is on Monday (inside) and Tuesday (outside)                                

Please wear your Knights Enham PE kit into school on these days. You will need a purple school jumper, or new school hoody over the top, and please try to wear BLACK trainers, we recommend these over plimsolls for wearing all day!
