Topic: 

AFRICA

This half-term we are going to be learning about Africa. We will have science focus on African animals and classifying them by their diet and animal group. We will learn about the country of Kenya in Geography, African dancing in PE and African food in DT. Please see our learning overview below for Summer 1 for more information.  

Reading: 

Please read with your child as often as possible at home and record in their home school book which is checked at least twice a week. Termly rewards will be provided for the students who continuously read and record it.

PE:

Year 1’s PE slots are as follows:

Monday Afternoons and Wednesday Afternoons.                                       

Please wear your Knights Enham PE kit into school on these days. You will need a purple school jumper/cardigan on over the top, and please try to wear suitable footwear. This preferably needs to be BLACK trainers.
